This is a project that I completed this past year during my travels. The LeNormand is a cartomancy deck made up of 36 cards, all with simple concepts. This deck is based on the city of Paris, and using symbolic and iconic images to represent the concepts of each card.
 

These paintings are all painted in oil, on gessoed
bristol paper. $1200 each

The paintings are in their original, uncropped format, on 14" x 11" gessoed paper. There are some notes in the margins, some drawing is visible on some. This format allows for some variation in proportion, as they're all painted beyond the standard 12:7 proportion used in printing.
